2019 Off Season Training Program

Good morning team,

Hope all are enjoying this winter weather and looking forward to our 2019 season! 2018 was an incredible season for the team and that was because of all the great work you guys did. Whether it was being on the podium, finishing your first mountain bike race, or just seeing improvement in your ability, all of it amounted to a successful season and you should be proud of your achievements.

To make sure we don’t lose any of that hard work you put in, we put together this off season training program. We will have a date in the near future where I will explain this in greater detail and be able to answer your questions, but in the interim we wanted to get this out to team to review and start.

The program can be applied in many different forms from doing everything listed to simply complimenting what you may already be doing on your own or with a winter sport. The key part we want to stress is to keep moving! A good intro is to try the “Bring Sally Up” challenge listed in the workout as that is a great full body exercise and good gauge of current strength. For the riding portion you can either go to your gym and jump on a stationary bike and use your phone to click on the links for the workouts and follow along or call some of your teammates and just go for a ride.

Congrats on a great 2018 season and we look forward to even more success in 2019. Take some time to review the workout and think about questions you may have for when we meet.
